1. What are cookies?

2. Our approach
The Byto X website (byto.click) is a fast static site designed to work without non-essential tracking cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data. We aim to collect as little as possible.
3. Cookies we may use
- Strictly necessary — a small number of cookies or local-storage entries may be used by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to keep the site secure, balance load and deliver content reliably. These are required for the site to function and do not identify you personally.
- Preferences — if you change a site setting, we may store that choice locally on your device so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and is not shared.
We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
4. Third-party services
The site is served through Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance. For details, see Cloudflare's own cookie and privacy documentation. Embedded media on the site is self-hosted and does not set third-party advertising cookies.
5. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Because our site relies only on strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may affect security features but will generally not break core browsing. Clearing local storage will reset any saved preferences.
