1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use the Byto X website, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical standard and treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design and engineer.
2. What we do
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable HTML and visible focus states;
- Strong colour contrast for text and interactive elements;
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images and icons marked decorative where appropriate;
- Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" preference for large, non-essential motion;
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels.
3. Ongoing work
Accessibility is never "finished". We continue to test and improve, and some third-party or embedded content may not yet fully meet our target. Where we identify gaps, we prioritise fixing them.
